Even in my own Mommy & Me photos, there are always bloopers. Someone is always making funny faces, me trying to fix hair, or make something look just right. It’s rarely all “rainbows and butterflies.” 😜
If you saw in my stories how my girls hijacked my own mommy & me session to take photos of each other, it wasn’t before we got a few sweet ones of the three of us first. I’m usually the one behind the camera, so being in the frame with them for a change felt really special.
I’ve been quietly introducing a ‘new-ish’ style of newborn sessions, and I’m so excited to finally share more of it with you.
Think: soft, relaxed, and centered around you as a family in my studio, while still offering those timeless, beautifully posed newborn portraits you love.
In these sessions, baby is held most of the time, snuggled in, loved on, and the focus shifts from just perfectly posed… to perfectly felt.
The best part? You can choose a full lifestyle relaxed posing session, or a blend of both worlds, classic poses + genuine connection.
It’s slower, more natural, and honestly… so meaningful.
I’ll be sharing more examples over the next few days so you can really see the difference
Maternity sessions are more than just photos… they’re a way to pause time before everything shifts.
Hold onto this moment. You’ll never be here again, but you’ll always want to remember it.
